After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ State University, Angie Cook joined Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) where she served as the risk manager and team lead in the development of the Reliable Replacement Warhead.
Cook is currently technical advisor to the associate director of Strategic Security at the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Nuclear Operations, Plan and Requirements, a part of the U.S. Air Force Headquarters in Washington, D.C. There, she serves as the LLNL liaison to the Air Force, and provides weapon engineering perspectives and government oversight for future stockpile technology studies.
Cook earned her master’s of science degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University while working at LLNL.
